Situated in the beautiful East Lothian coast in one of the sunniest areas of Scotland, we are focused on producing a selection of fantastic tasting ciders. We were founded in 2008 by Peter Stuart, a wild haired and budding cider maker, who was born only 27 miles from where Thistly Cross is made. Our first cider was released in 2009. Thistly Cross are the only cider producer in Scotland using their own apples. Due to the climate, the apples have to work hard to grow and produce a uniquely wonderful flavour.
